Type: Three ponds Map: Link Availability: All members Disabled Access: The distance between the allocated parking and the pools is short but over rough grass and through normal iron farm gates. If wet then the road up to fishing is unsuitable for vehicles. Species: Roach, Bream, Crucian Carp and Tench. Grid Reference of Main Access Point: The main pool is at SD 641447. Car Parking: There is space to park cars at the top of the lane next to the Pool. General Description: Three small ponds left over from nearby lime works. Approximately 50 yards by 25 yards. Access Arrangements: From the Chipping to Loud Mytham Bridge road take the farm access road past Leagram Mill. Passing Knot Hill disused lime works on your left go past Knot Barn. Immediately on passing the Barn on the right go through the gate on the left and drive up approximately 150 yards; the Pool is on the left as the road kinks left. Note that the lane up to the main pool is unsuitable for vehicles when the weather has been wet. Restrictions: No fishing on Mondays from October to the end of the season as shooting will be in progress.
