Type: River Ribble, Single Bank Also known as: Red Bank Map: Link Availability: All members. Disabled Access: Access is over fields which may be rutted and muddy. The water itself is in a wood which is difficult to negotiate. Species: Barbel, Chub, Dace, Eel , Salmon, Trout, Sea Trout and Grayling. Grid Reference of Main Access Point: SD 637348 Grid Reference of Upstream Limit SD 637348 Grid Reference of Downstream Limit SD 633347 Car Parking: There is parking for four or five cars on Shotton Lane just past Boathouse Farm (see P on map). Please note that this car park must not be used on Wednesday mornings as it obstructs utility vehicles. General Description: One kilometer of single bank fishing extending along the length of Red Bank Wood. This fishing is contiguous with the Club’s Ribchester water.  The upstream limit is marked by a fence at the edge of the wood. The downstream limit is marked by the tennis court of Hothersall Hall. Access Arrangements: All access to this water must be made at the upstream limit i.e.at the woods edge where this water meets the Club’s Ribchester length. Restrictions: Members must enter and leave this water only from the upstream point. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS WATER IS OUT OF BOUNDS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE DUE TO EROSION DAMAGE
